John Forsythe

I have been working  on web sites since 1996. Since then I have authored/extended web content management systems, e-commerce platforms, b2b, m2b, c2c, p2p, warehouse fulfillment systems, SOAP systems, RIA and other web services. I love to create extensible and accessible HTML/xHTML web interfaces using positional and visual CSS.

Currently I work for McAfee Antivirus in San Francisco. Previously I was working at USAA on the web interfaces and dynamic applications for usaa.com, CRM portal workflow and the corporate Intranet. Even further back I worked for Skinmarket Cosmetics in Carpinteria, CA and did some contracting for dot coms in the area during the dot com bust. I also worked for USAA once before as a web developer in the late 90's and before that I was a application engineer at an ISP in Texas.

My cat Mercury and I currently live in San Francisco, California . We previously lived in San Antonio, Texas and before that Santa Barbara, California. I enjoy the outdoors, rock climbing, and playing D&D.

I graduated from The University of Texas in 2003 with a BA in Communication. I also hold a few certifications in Web development.
