This is a picture of a painting I found hanging on the wall in a BBQ joint in San Jose.

This reminds me of my childhood, living amongst the sunflowers. It brings back memories of the Crow Battles of the late 80's when my sister and I used to fight in to protect our seedy-lands from the beaked infidels.

These two must have been great warriors.

I think I see an improvement in my photography recently. I am not shooting  as indiscriminately feverish, or feverishly indiscriminate (despite how Fred feels about digital 'film'). Additionally, I find myself thinking about the composition of the final shot: the colors, the subject and the lighting.

Also, I just want to comment that I probably should be touching these up in Photoshop before I upload them, but usually I don't mess with them at all. Occasionally I find opportunity to adjust the contrast or exposure on an image but not very often.

I was out at my parents helping my father fix some fences down by the creek. There are some neat photos of some of the stuff at thier house.
